Description: <p></p><p><p>Hendrik von Carlowitz bewirtschaftet in Nohfelden-Walhausen einen Bioland-Betrieb mit Schwerpunkt Schafhaltung; rund 85 Mutterschafe der Rasse Coburger Fuchsschaf weiden auf den hügeligen Wiesen und Weiden um den Hof. Vermarktet werden Lammfleisch, Schaffelle und Wurstwaren sowie Schurwollartikel aus eigener Wolle.<br>Im Juni 2024 pflanzte die Lignovis GmbH auf 0,9 ha Dauergrünland ein silvopastorales Agroforstsystem mit 2.275 Pappeln und Weiden (Gehölzfläche 0,3 ha). Ziel ist die Futterlaubproduktion für die Schafherde: Die Triebe werden direkt beweidet oder von Hand mit der Astschere geschnitten, das Laub verfüttert und die Hackschnitzel für Beete und Wege bzw. für eine Benjeshecke genutzt.
