Description: <p></p><p><p>Es handelt sich um eine kommunale Streuobstwiese in Heroldingen mit sehr alten bis hin zu sehr jungen Bäumen zur Veranschaulichung, wie traditioneller Agroforst heute noch wirtschaftlich genutzt wird. Neben Schafbeweidung wird das Obst von Bürgern komplett ersteigert und für Frischverzehr, Most, Saft, Schnaps und als Trockenobst sowie zum Backen verwertet. Ein Teil wird regional weitervermarktet, um besonders alte Sorten marktfähig zu machen. Teils ist die Fläche im Rahmen eines Lehrpfads mit wichtigen Informationen zu traditionellem Agroforst, gesundheitlichen Aspekten der Früchte u.v.a. versehen. Die professionelle Pflege wird wohlwollend durch die Stadt als Eigentümerin unterstützt, indem sie z.B. für die Abfuhr des Schnittguts sorgt. Teils pflanzt der Bauhof auch direkt nach.
