Comment: * C15:1-I and C15:1-II are tentatively assigned as C15:1ω8 and C15:1ω6 (molecule structures were not identifiable entirely in terms of their double bound-positions). ** iC17:1-I and iC17:1-II can be assumed to embody the fatty acids iC17:1ω8 and iC17:1ω6 (molecule structures were not identifiable entirely in terms of their double bound-positions). *** has not been separated from following peaks distinctly enough for accurate isotopic value determination. Duplicate measurements of the incubated samples held deviations of the FA concentrations of ±4.7 ng PLFA g−1 (C13:0 with a concentration of 33.2 ng PLFA g−1) to ±877 ng PLFA g−1 (C16:0 with a concentration of 11 500 ng PLFA g−1). Deviations of the δ13C values were between <0.1 and ±69.4‰ (for PLFAs with label uptake of >700‰).
