National gridded data of emissions by source category (GNFR) - NECD and CLRTAP

Description: This is the dataset providing spatially distributed air pollutant emission data reported by countries under the National Emission reduction Commitments Directive (NECD) and the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (Air Convention). Emissions are organised by pollutant and GNFR (Gridded Nomenclature for Reporting) source categories. Data is distributed across the EMEP grid, providing a harmonised representation of emission patterns for environmental assessment, modelling and analysis.
