NECPR: Progress to targets for adaptation (Annex III) dataset

Description: Progress to targets for adaptation is a dataset under the National Energy and Climate Progress Reports (NECPRs), which is reported every second year, starting in 2023 for EU Member States and 2025 for Energy Community Contracting Parties. The dataset provides information regarding Member State's and Contracting Parties' adaptation goals and how they are integrated with National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) and how adaptation concerns could affect delivering the objectives of the Energy Union. The EEA collects and quality checks this data. This reporting obligation comes from Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2299 (Annex III), in accordance with Article 4(a)(1) and Article 17(2)(d) of the ‘Regulation (EU) 2018/1999 on the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action’ (EU Governance Regulation).
