Description: The National Energy and Climate Progress Reports (NECPRs) are a series of data, in accordance with the Governance Regulation 2018/1999, which provide information on the progress of implementing Member State National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs). The NECPRs are reported biennially, starting in 2023, and provide data across all dimensions of the Energy Union (decarbonisation: greenhouse gas emissions and removals, decarbonisation: renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security, internal energy market, and research innovation and competitiveness). The EEA/ETC collects and quality checks data regarding the elements of decarbonisation and energy efficiency and these are provided here. This includes data on progress to targets, policies and measures and additional reporting obligations.
