Description: Das Projekt "Bacterial degradation of aromatic compounds" wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universite de Geneve, Departement de Biochimie Medical, Centre Medical Universitaire.Many soil bacteria, particularly those of genus Pdeudomonas, are able to catabolise a wide range of natural and synthetic organic materials. We are studying the catabolism of aromatic compounds by Pseudomonas bacteria and trying to improve their catabolic ability by means of genetic engineering.
