Konsolidierungsperspektiven und Innovationspotentiale regionaler Unternehmensnetzwerke für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften

Description: Auf lokaler und regionaler Ebene haben sich inzwischen zahlreiche Initiativen für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften gebildet. Doch die systematische Einbeziehung der besonders wichtigen Akteure der lokalen Wirtschaft gelingt bisher nur in wenigen Ausnahmefällen. Zu groß sind offenbar die tatsächlichen oder vermeintlichen Interessenkonflikte, Kooperations- und Kommunikationsblockaden, zu undeutlich die mit einer nachhaltigen Wirtschaftsweise verbundenen Vorteile, zu unklar die konkreten Anknüpfungspunkte und Anforderungen in den relevanten Handlungsfeldern. Vor diesem Hintergrund gewinnt die Initiierung, vergleichende wissenschaftliche Begleitung und Evaluation von regionalen Netzwerken für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften an Bedeutung. Die Chance für eine 'nachhaltige' Konsolidierung und Weiterentwicklung von Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen hängt entscheidend davon ab, inwieweit es gelingt: nach innen und nach außen hin den Nutzen für die Beteiligten, die Zukunftsfähigkeit der Unternehmen und der Region konkret nachvollziehbar zu machen; die dafür ausschlaggebenden Erfolgsfaktoren und 'Netzwerkeffekte' zu dokumentieren; Themenfelder sowie Handlungshilfen zu entwickeln, die an den vorhandenen Innovationsbedarfen und -potentialen der Unternehmen anknüpfen; die Erfahrungen aus anderen Regionen im Hinblick auf eine situationsspezifisch angepasste Übertragbarkeit auszuwerten; einen daraufhin orientierten wechselseitigen Lernprozess und Erfahrungsaustausch zu organisieren. Konkret werden dabei das 'Kompetenzzentrum nachhaltiges Wirtschaften', Leipzig, und die 'Wuppertaler Umweltinitiative' durch wissenschaftliche Begleitung und forschungsbasierte Beratung unterstützt.
