Forschungsinitiative Zukunft Bau - Forschungscluster 'Nachhaltiges Bauen/Bauqualität', Organisation und Durchführung der deutschen Beteiligung an der Weltkonferenz World Sustainable Building 2011 in Helsinki

Description: Die Bundesregierung nimmt im Bereich Nachhaltiges Bauen eine Vorbildrolle ein. Die Umsetzung dieses Anspruchs wird auf nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen zum Nachhaltigen Bauen regelmäßig der Fachöffentlichkeit vorgestellt. Die Teilnahme an der World Sustainable Building Conference 2011 in Helsinki stellte die logische Weiterführung einer derweil kontinuierlichen Präsenz Deutschlands auf der internationalen Bühne des Nachhaltigen Bauens dar. Die World Sustainable Building 2011 (WSB11) fand vom 18. bis 21. Oktober 2011 in Helsinki mit 1.020 Teilnehmern statt. Die deutsche Teilnahme an der Weltkonferenz verstetigt die Präsenz Deutschlands auf der internationalen Bühne des Nachhaltigen Bauens. Mit diesem Engagement hat sich die Bundesregierung in den letzten zehn Jahren den Ruf erarbeitet, international an der Spitze der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Nachhaltigkeit zu stehen. Das Vorhaben zielte in konsequenter Fortsetzung auf die Reputationssicherung durch Demonstration aktueller wissenschaftlicher Inhalte auf dem Gebiet des Nachhaltigen Bauens auf international führenden wissenschaftlichen Veranstaltungen. Der Schwerpunkt des deutschen Auftritts war die Darstellung der Anwendung und Weiterentwicklung des Bewertungssystems Nachhaltiges Bauen für Bundesbauten (BNB). Daneben wurden flankierende Maßnahmen wie Strukturen und Werkzeuge des Bundes zur Umsetzung und Implementierung des Nachhaltigen Bauens, die Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses und die Förderprogramme der Deutschen Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) vorgestellt.

The implementation of this intention is presented at regular intervals to the professional public at national and international conferences on the sustainable building. Its participation at the World Sustainable Building Conference 2011 in Helsinki represented the logical continuation of what has become for Germany a permanent presence on the international stage with respect to sustainable building. The World Sustainable Building 2011 (SB11) conference took place in Helsinki from the 18th to the 21st of October 2011, with 1020 participants in attendance. The participation of Germany in the world conference confirmed the continuous presence of the country on the international stage with respect to sustainable building. As a result of its commitment in this area, the German federal government has gained the reputation in the last ten years of being at the forefront in the international arena with respect to the development and implementation of sustainability. The intention is directed at the resolute continuation of reputation-building through the demonstration of current scientific topics in the area of sustainable building at leading international scientific events. The focus of Germany's presentation was the depiction of the application and further development of the Assessment System for Sustainable Building for Federal Buildings (BNB). Supplementary measures on the part of the federal government such as structures and tools for the initiation and implementation of sustainable building, for the promotion of younger-generation scientists and for the support programmes of the German Energy Agency (dena) were also presented on this occasion.
