Microbial Communities in biological waste treatment processes

Description: Das Projekt "Microbial Communities in biological waste treatment processes" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Universität Innsbruck. Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universität Innsbruck, Institut für Mikrobiologie.In the course of this PhD project the microbial communities involved in different processes f biological waste treatments shall be analysed. The main focus will be on two distinct habitats, a waste water treatment- and a biogas plant. Several microbiological and molecular biology based methods will be employed to investigate the composition and fluctuations of these communities during changes of process conditions.
