Historische Flussmorphologie der Theiß (Ungarn)

Description: Das Leibniz Institut für Gerwässerökologie und Binnenfischerei (IGB) in Berlin wurde mit einem Vorprojekt zum 'Interregionalen Entwicklungsprojekt südliche Theiß' (PreSTIRD) in Ungarn beauftragt. Im Zuge des Vorprojekts wird auch die regulierungsbedingte flussmorphologische Entwicklung eines Theiß-Abschnittes seit ca. 1800 nördlich von Szolnok rekonstruiert. Das Institut für Hydrobiologie und Gewässermanagement (IHG) übernimmt dabei die fachliche Beratung bei der GIS-Rekonstruktion und der Analyse der ehemaligen flussmorphologischen Verhältnisse basierend auf historischen Karten und Vermessungsoperaten.

  Description: The Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) in Berlin was assigned a preliminary study for the 'South Tisza Inter-Region Development Project' (PreSTIRD) in Hungary. One part of this project is the reconstruction of the river morphological changes (since ca. 1800 A.D.) of a section of the Tisza River north of Szolnok due to flood protection and channelization.
