Description: Mit dem Bewertungssystem Nachhaltiges Bauen (BNB) steht ein ganzheitliches und quantitatives Bewertungsverfahren für neu erstellte Büro- und Verwaltungsgebäude zur Verfügung. Innerhalb des Forschungsprojektes wurde ein Handlungsinstrument für die Einschätzung und Dokumentation von Baustoffen und Bauprodukten hinsichtlich ihres Risikopotenzials auf Grundwasser, Oberflächenwasser, Boden und Außenluft entwickelt, das die Anwendung des BNB-Kriteriums 'Risiken für die lokale Umwelt' vereinheitlicht und erleichtert. Das Bewertungssystem Nachhaltiges Bauen (BNB) ergänzt seit Ende 2009 den Leitfaden Nachhaltiges Bauen. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts wurde ein Handlungsinstrument für die Unterstützung bei der Bearbeitung des BNB-Kriteriums 1.1.6 'Risiken für die lokale Umwelt' in Form eines einfach anwendbaren Softwaretools entwickelt. Das Instrument schafft eine einheitliche und vergleichbare Grundlage für die Beurteilung von Baustoffen und Bauprodukten hinsichtlich ihres Risikopotenzials auf Grundwasser, Oberflächenwasser, Boden und Außenluft. Derzeit stellen die verfügbaren produktbezogenen Umweltinformationen eine unübersichtliche und im Sinne der Kriterienanforderungen ungenügende Quelle zur Beurteilung der Risikopotenziale dar. Deshalb muss in Ausnahmefällen die Bewertung von Bauprodukten, deren Beschreibung keine ausreichenden Angaben zu den Risikopotenzialen liefern, durch Ersatzannahmen erfolgen. Das entwickelte Handlungsinstrument kann sowohl als Planungshilfe für die Vorabschätzung in der Planungsphase als auch als Anwendungshilfe für die Bewertung von Baustoffen und Bauprodukten in der Realisierungsphase des Gebäudes eingesetzt werden. Weiterhin wurde das Datenangebot von externen Informationssystemen überprüft und die Möglichkeit der Einbindung beschrieben. Das Handlungsinstrument ist ausbaufähig.

A holistic and quantitative evaluation process, supplementary to the guideline for sustainable building, has existed for newly constructed office and administrative buildings since the end of 2009, in the shape of the sustainable building evaluation system (BNB). For the purpose of evaluating the BNB criterion 'Risks for the local environment', a tool has been developed for the evaluation and documentation of building materials and building products with respect to their potential risk to ground water, surface water, soil and outside air in order to provide a uniform and easier basis for the application of the criterion. An instrument for supporting the processing of the BNB criterion 1.1.6 'Risks for the local environment' was created within the framework of the research project, in the form of a user-friendly software tool. The instrument provides a uniform and comparable basis for the assessment of building materials and building products with respect to their potential risk to ground water, surface water, soil and outside air. At the present time, the product-related environmental information available constitutes a complex and inadequate source - in terms of the criteria requirements - with which to assess the risk potentials. In exceptional cases, it is therefore necessary to carry out the evaluation of building products, the description of which does not provide sufficient information regarding risk potentials, using replacement assumptions. The developed tool can be used both as a planning aid for preliminary assessments during the planning phase, and also as an application aid for the evaluation of building materials and building products during the building realisation phase. Furthermore, the data available from external information systems has been checked and the possibility of integration described. The tool can be further expanded.
