Description: Volatile organic compounds emitted from natural sources, both terrestrial and marine, make an important baseline contribution to many of the atmospheric environmental issues of current concern. A main objective is thus to improve the understanding of how the degradation of BIOVOCs (biogenic volatile organic compounds) can influence photochemical ozone formation. - To improve the understanding of the ozonolysis reactions, in particular the aspects related to generation of OH radicals. - To improve the understanding of the impact of BIOVOC on the oxidizing capacity of the atmosphere.
