Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Ministry of Science Israel, Agricultural and Environmental Division.The main topics of the five Israeli-German research groups are: 1.DISUM 38/ Transfer Processes in Water Systems with Variable Morphometry and their Effects on Water Quality (Lake Kinneret Case Study). 2. DISUM 39/ Modelling Landscapescale Vegetation: Dynamics of the Nizzana Sanddunes. 3. DISUM 40/ Limnological, Physiological and Molecular Analyses of the Aphanizomenon ovalisporum Bloom in Lake Kinneret. 4. DISUM 41/ The Role of Grazing in Conservation of Biodiversity of Geophytes in Mediterranean Grassland and Woodland Ecosystems. 5. DISUM 42/ the Reciprocal Effect of Wind Flow, Sand Transport and Vegetation ist a Sandy Desert Ecosystem, Western Negev. As results of the joint research projects remarkable contributions to the understanding and to the development of sustainable management concepts of arid, mediterranean landecosystems and lakeecosystems will be expected.
