Description: Das Projekt Umsetzung integrierter Umweltschutztechnik auf Basis der Umweltkostenrechnung bei der Lincoln GmbH, Walldorf baut auf das Vorgängerprojekt Umweltkostenrechnung zur Entscheidungsunterstützung bei der Einführung integrierter Umweltschutztechniken auf. Als Kooperationspartner und somit als angewandtes Beispiel fungiert die Firma Lincoln GmbH in Walldorf/Baden. Das Kernthema des Projektes ist die Erstellung eines Leitfadens zur Investitionsplanung integrierter Umweltschutzmaßnahmen. Er soll vor allem mittleren Unternehmen dazu dienen, Investitionsbedarf zu ermitteln und aufzudecken (Schwachstellenanalyse) sowie bei geplanten Investitionen Anreize zu erzeugen und Möglichkeiten zur Einführung integrierter Umweltschutztechniken zu geben. Die Zielgruppe des Leitfadens findet sich in mittleren produzierenden Unternehmen im Geschäftsführungs- und mittlerem Managementbereich. Ein Hauptanliegen dieser Broschüre ist es, Nachhaltigkeit zu fördern durch Umdenken im Bereich des wirtschaftlichen Handelns. Ökologie, das bedeutet hier vor allem integrierter Umweltschutz, soll Ökonomie und Innovationskraft des Unternehmens stärken und nicht als hemmender Kostenfaktor gesehen werden. Ökologische Verbesserungen durch die Einführung integrierter Umweltschutztechniken lassen sich um so eher erreichen, je deutlicher die damit möglicherweise verbundenen Kostenvorteile plausibel und transparent gemacht werden. Die Modellierung der Stoffströme und deren Kostenbelegung einer Lackieranlage zur anteiligen Verarbeitung von Wasserlacken mittels der Stoffstrommanagement Software Umberto soll dabei beispielhaft die Vorteile der Implementierung integrierter Umweltschutztechniken vermitteln und den relevanten Praxisbezug herstellen.
