Klimaforschungsplan KLIFOPLAN, Klimaschutz durch Digitalisierung im Verkehr: Klimaschutzwirkung von Digitalisierungs- und Automatisierungsmaßnahmen im ÖPNV

Description: Ziel des Vorhabens ist es, die Klimaschutzwirkung von ausgewählten Digitalisierungs- und Automatisierungsmaßnahmen im ÖPNV zu modellieren und quantifizieren. Dabei sollen die Auswirkungen differenziert nach Raumtypen analysiert und Szenarien hinsichtlich der angebots- und nachfrageseitigen Entwicklungen und Effekte der Digitalisierung im ÖPNV für die Zeithorizonte bis 2030 und bis 2045 entwickelt werden. Des Weiteren sollen THG-Auswirkungen unter Einbezug verschiedener Kostenkategorien abgeschätzt werden. Ableitung förderpolitischer und regulatorischer Empfehlungen unter der Fragestellung, welche Digitalisierungs- und Automatisierungsmaßnahmen im ÖPNV besonders kosteneffektiv zum Klimaschutz im Verkehrssektor beitragen.

  Description: The aim of the project is to model and quantify the climate change impacts of selected digitalisation and automation measures in public transport. The impacts will be analysed by spatial type and scenarios will be developed regarding the supply and demand side developments and impacts of digitalisation in public transport for the years 2030 and 2045.
