Weiterbildungsstudiengang 'Sustainable Entrepreneurship (STEP)' der Universität Lüneburg

Description: Im Mai 2002 begann an der Universität Lüneburg der Aufbau eines Fernstudienprogramms zur Weiterbildung im Bereich der umweltorientierten Unternehmensgründung und -führung. Der geplante Studiengang stellt in bisher einzigartiger Weise die Verbindung zwischen ökologischen und sozialen Herausforderungen einerseits und ihrer Lösung durch innovatives Unternehmertum (Entrepreneurship) andererseits her. Die thematischen Schwerpunkte liegen in der Geschäftsplanung, dem Marktauftritt, der Finanzierung und Internationalisierung junger Unternehmen, die Leistungen für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung anbieten. Angesprochen sind besonders Personen, die mit umwelt- oder nachhaltigkeitsorientierten Geschäftsideen eine Gründung, Ausgründung oder Expansion von Unternehmen anstreben. Das Studienangebot soll ab Sommersemester 2003 sowohl ein einjähriges Orientierungsstudium als auch ein zweijähriges Studium mit Masterabschluss beinhalten. Vom modular aufgebauten Studienprogramm werden auch einzelne Kurseinheiten und Blockveranstaltungen belegt werden können. Um Berufstätige und praktizierende Unternehmer anzusprechen, ist der Studiengang als internetgestütztes Fernstudium mit Präsenzphasen konzipiert. Hierzu werden Studienhefte erstellt und eine Internetplattform in Kooperation mit dem Fernstudienzentrum der Universität Lüneburg eingerichtet.
