Description: The 'Carbon Forestry Network' (CFN), a voluntary network initiated by the Institute for World Forestry and CIFOR, aims on enhancing scientific capacities and knowledge within the field of forestry research related to climate science, mitigation and adaptation ('carbon forestry'). The CFN focuses on assisting and supporting academic approaches and was established with the goal of providing a networking and information platform, specific support for junior scientists and academic institutions, as well offering exposition of scientists and institutes to international stakeholders and negotiations.
