Description: Das Projekt "Sonderforschungsbereich (SFB) 552: Stabilität von Randzonen tropischer Regenwälder in Indonesien; Stability of Rainforest Margins in Indonesia, Sub-project B1: Effects of land use on the exchange of water, carbon dioxide and energy between the rain forest margin area and the atmosphere Sub-project Z2: Climatological parameters in the research area - supporting measurements and regionalisation" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Büsgen-Institut, Abteilung Bioklimatologie.Sub-project B1 aims at generating scientific facts on biosphere-atmosphere interactions across the major land use types of the tropical rain forest margin area in South East Asia (SEA). A combination of meteorological and botanical approaches both empirical and theoretical is applied to a cacao agroforestry system, Nopu, where other sub-projects of STORMA do intensive field research to measure and model fluxes of water energy, vapour, and carbon dioxide at different spatial scales.
