These flexible photovoltaic cells can be used in buildings, in rural and remote regions, in consumer and portable photovoltaic apparatus and also in aero and space applications. The project focuses on the improvement of the efficiency of flexible solar cell laminates, the use of low-cost materials, a strong reduction of the production costs and more than 20 years outdoor lifetime.
