Bearings Fatigue Life Testing and Calculation

Description: Das Projekt "Bearings Fatigue Life Testing and Calculation" wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Fraunhofer-Institut für Windenergiesysteme, Standort Bremerhaven.The aim of the BALTIC project is to investigate raceway and structural fatigue for determining the service life of blade bearings in wind turbines. In particular, the possible mutual influence of typical blade bearing damage such as raceway fatigue, wear, ring fatigue and corrosion is being investigated in the joint project. The objectives of this sub-project are the development of a methodology for testing bearings for ring fatigue and the development of a calculation model for the service life of oscillating blade bearings in wind turbines.
