Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH), Forschungsstelle für Sicherheitspolitik und Konfliktanalyse.Aims: - Find new principles and mechanisms of conflict management to test and implement in high tension conflicts induced or exacerbated by environmental degradation. - Find principles to link bottom-up and top-down approaches that strengthen both people's participation in conflict resolution and transformation by building upon indigenous, cultural and social resources as well as state capacity. - Find principles to link specific conflict resolution approaches with strategies for sustainable resource use. - Find principles to overcome the gender bias in traditional conflict resolution mechanisms.
