Smart Rotorblade Manufacturing and Inspection

Description: Das Projekt "Smart Rotorblade Manufacturing and Inspection" wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Fraunhofer-Institut für Windenergiesysteme, Standort Bremerhaven.In the planned project, a process management system will be developed to improve quality in production while reducing costs. Through intensive monitoring of manual sub-processes, quality characteristics are detected and documented at the earliest possible stage, taking into account their relevance. In the event of deviations, action aids are developed to enable deviations to be corrected efficiently. These are either passed on to the worker at the right time as visual support or are used to control partially automated production steps. Modular inspection systems are networked for this purpose, in particular in order to localize the recorded inspection characteristics on the test specimen and to digitally store the data in a reproducible manner. These modular inspection systems are to be guided both partially automated and manually over the mold or rotor blade surface without interrupting or delaying production for inspection processes. Automated sub-processes are securely linked with manual components. This creates the basis for designing digital manufacturing twins. The implementation takes place in the IWES research environment (BladeMaker DemoCenter).
