Forschergruppe (FOR) 2358: Mountain Exile Hypothesis - How humans benefited from and re-shaped African high altitude ecosystems during Quarternary climatic changes, Teilprojekt: Zentrale wissenschaftliche Dienste

Description: Die Ziele des Zentralprojekts 2 (C2) umfassen das projektübergreifende Datenmanagement und den Datenaustausch. Eine zentrale Datenbank stellt eine nachhaltige Nutzung der gesammelten Informationen, auch über die Projektlaufzeit hinaus, sicher. Zudem wird die datengetriebene Synthese innerhalb und zwischen den Projekten durch die Bereitstellung von aggregierten Datensätzen und die Entwicklung und Implementierung von spezifischen Analyse-Programmen gefördert. Dabei werden die zur Verfügung stehenden Ressourcen durch die Kombination von existierenden und neuen, offline und online Lösungen, effizient genutzt. Somit soll auch ein nachhaltiger Beitrag zu den aktuellen, DFG geförderten, Datenserviceprojekten geliefert werden. Im Rahmen von C2 wird zusätzlich die Bohrkernkampagne in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den betreffenden Projekten koordiniert.
