Description: Das Projekt "Rapid Wireline / Coil Based Radial Jet Drilling for Enhanced Geothermal Reservoir Production" wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Energieinfrastrukturen und Geothermie IEG.The objective of the subproject is to conceptualize, design, manufacture and test a CT- and/or WL-based borehole assembly which, based on RJD technology, for the first time allows the drilling of a large number of microboreholes along the reservoir section of a mother borehole both technically and economically. The aim is to monitor the systematic creation of micro-wells in order to obtain information about the micro-wells in terms of their length and shape around the wellbore. This serves to improve the connectivity between the mother well and the reservoir for the purpose of increasing production and squeeze rates and ultimately increasing the yield of geothermal power plants.
