Description: General Information: Of the proposed project will pursue: (1) an updating of the carbon transport of the world's largest rivers by own monitoring as well as integration of data from other sources; (2) a review of the organic carbon in the ocean and its relation to the inorganic carbon, its sources and sinks. This includes cooperation in the parameterisation of the c-fluxes necessary for the ocean circulation model group 1; (3) the edition of bibliographies covering special parts of the carbon cycle and collection of this literature; (4) the updated presentation of the carbon cycle under special consideration of Europe and under increased temperature conditions.
