PRE-ENVPROT 3C, Modelling of Stands Growth and Development - Consequences of New Forest Disease on Wood Yield, Structure and Functions of Forests

Description: In Order to Achieve this Purpose, Dynamic Growth Models are being Developed for Spruce, Pine and Douglas Fir. In Addition, Models are being Prepared for Beech and Oak to Simulate Growth and Development of Stands and to Foresee their Structure on the Basis of a Series of Assumptions. The Scenarios will Provide Information on the Likely Structures of Forest Stands at Various Times. The Wood Production will be Determines Qualitatively and Quantitatively. Ecological Consequences as well as the ability of Forest to Fullfil its Functions will be Assessed.
