Diffusion von Energieeffizienz- und Klimaschutzinnovationen im öffentlichen und privaten Sektor (Vorstudie)

Description: Gegenstand des Projektes ist die Analyse sozialer und ökonomischer Prozesse der Diffusion von Energieeffizienz- und Klimaschutzinnovationen. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Frage, wie sich erfolgreiche Innovationen vor dem Hintergrund staatlicher und wirtschaftlicher Gelegenheitsstrukturen erklären lassen. Dabei werden deutliche Unterschiede im Innovationsverhalten von (bereits) privatisierten und (noch) öffentlichen Stadtwerken erwartet. Forschungsfragen sind etwa die nach der Rolle von Marktstrukturen, -chancen und -nischen. Werden Innovationen eher von kleinen oder großen Unternehmen umgesetzt und gibt es Unterschiede zwischen Neu-, Aus- und Umgründungen? Können geschlossene Netzwerke Innovationen schützen, oder verhindern sie die Wahrnehmung neuer Möglichkeiten? Wirken sich die Eigenschaften der Technologie auf die Innovationsfähigkeit aus? Und welche Bedeutung kommt Nachahmungseffekten, dem Streben nach Legitimität und der Verankerung von Klimaschutzbelangen in der professionellen Netzwerken zu? Aus den Forschungsfragen ergibt sich die Praxisrelevanz des Projektes, mit dessen Hilfe sich Empfehlungen für eine innovationsfreundliche Rahmengebung für Politik und Verwaltung erarbeiten lassen. Die hier dargestellte Projektphase dient der Anforschung für das erste Teilprojekt zum Innovationsverhalten von Stadtwerken. Vorbehaltlich einer Drittmittelförderung werden sich zwei weitere Teilprojekte zu energieintensiven Anwendern und zu Produzenten von energieeffizienten Technologien anschließen.

  Description: Subject of the project is the analysis of social and economic processes of the diffusion of energy efficiency and climatic protection innovations. At the centre with the question is how successful innovations before the background of state and economic opportunity structures can to be explained. Clear differences in the innovative behaviour are expected by (already) privatised and (still) public public utilities. research questions are for instance those after the role of market structures, -chances and -niches. Are innovations converted rather by or large small enterprises and are there differences between new -, out and conversions? The project phase represented here is used the on-research for the first sub-project for the innovative behaviour by public utilities.
