Die Nachhaltigkeit transnationaler europäischer Raumentwicklungspolitik. Eine Evaluation der EU-Förderprogramme INTERREG IIC und IIIB für die Ostseeregion

Description: Die europäische Raumentwicklungspolitik gewinnt erste Konturen. Im Rahmen der Programme INTERREG IIC und IIIB fördert die EU transnationale Raumplanungskooperationen in der Ostseeregion, um auf diese Weise zu einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung des Zielgebietes beizutragen. Die Arbeit greift dieses politische Anliegen auf und überprüft die Nachhaltigkeit europäischer Raumentwicklungspolitik durch eine Evaluation der genannten Programme und der durch diese angestoßenen Projekte. Darauf aufbauende Handlungsempfehlungen an die politisch-planerische Praxis sollen Ansatzpunkte für die nachhaltigkeitsgerechte Formulierung von Raumordnungsleitbildern, eine entsprechende Optimierung von Programmdesign und -management in laufenden und zukünftigen Förderperioden, aber auch für die konkrete Zusammenarbeit in transnationalen Raumplanungsprojekten bieten.
