Historische und neuere Karten aus dem nomadischen Lebensraum der Mongolei - Eine historisch geographische/kartographische Studie zur Erschließung weiderwirtschaftlicher Nutzungsmuster

Description: Das erkenntnisleitende Ziel besteht in der Fragestellung, in welchem Maße und in welcher Form können aus den historischen 'nomadischen' Karten bislang nicht mögliche Einsichten in die Binnenstruktur nomadischer Bevölkerungsgruppen (in diesem Fall mongolischer) gewonnen werden. Damit könnte die Diskussion über die ökologische Rolle und optimale Angepasstheit (im Sinne von 'creative adjustment') nomadischer Überlebenssicherung auf nachvollziehbare Fakten gestellt, die territoriale und politische Funktion der mongolischen Nomaden erhellt und nicht zuletzt auch auf ihren Beitrag zur kulturellen, raumstrukturellen und wirtschaftsorganisatorischen Entwicklung der Mongolei geschlossen werden. Diese angesprochen Sachverhalte sind interdisziplinärer Aktualität.
