Cost Optimum and Standard Solutions for Maintenance and Management of the Social Housing Stock (AFTER)

Description: AFTER will participate directly in improving energy efficiency by 20% according to the target set for 2020 by the European Commission.. The objectives of the project are: - Improving Social Housing Organisations awareness and knowledge on new and existing energy saving measures. - Reducing the short-term energy consumption of buildings and improving management of operations and running maintenance. - Increasing tenants involvement in reducing energy consumption thanks to a better adaptation of technical solutions to tenants behaviour. - Developing the Social Housing Organization asset strategies linking energy efficiency and low-cost investment. Focusing on these goals, AFTER works with participating companies and sets the target of an immediate reduction of 3% to 7,5% of annual energy consumption - once construction or refurbishment of their buildings has been completed.
