Description: Das Projekt "Part 3 UNECE Integrated monitoring at the Neubrandenburg measuring station" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit (BMU), Umweltbundesamt (UBA). Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universität Göttingen, Forschungszentrum Waldökosysteme. The ICP Integrated Monitoring (IM) programme is implemented at two German sites: the highland DE01 site 'Forellenbach Tal' (trout brook valley) where IM measurements started in 1990 and the lowland site Neuglobsow - Lake Stechlin (DE02), where measurements started in 1998. In Neuglobsow research focussed on water and element fluxes related to subprogrammes precipitation chemistry (PC), throughfall (TF), and runoff water chemistry (RW). In September 2003 the German Federal Environmental Agency (UBA) and the Institute of Soil Science and Forest Nutrition in Göttingen (now: Büsgen-Institute, Department of Soil Science of Temperate and Boreal Ecosystems, PGZ) started a collaborative project within the ICP IM programme. The main task of this research project was to start new IM subprogrammes at the lowland site Neuglobsow (DE02) in Brandenburg.
