Description: a) Zielstellung, fachliche Begründung: Ziel des Vorhabens ist es eine Machbarkeitsstudie für Szenarien zum kommunalen Klimaschutz zu entwickeln. Diese Szenarien sollen ein tiefgehenderes Verständnis zu kommunalen Klimaschutzpotenzialen und ihren Abhängigkeiten von und Rückkopplungen zum nationalen Klimaschutz ermöglichen. Dadurch sollen Rückschlüsse für den Unterstützungsrahmen für Kommunen abgeleitet werden. Besonders zu evtl. Anpassungsbedarf in der NKI, aber auch für die Zusammenarbeit mit den Bundesländern, die mittlerweile vereinzelte Pflichtaufgaben für Kommunen im Klimaschutz formulieren. Die Machbarkeitsstudie soll abbilden, wie integrierte Energie- und Treibhausgasszenarien zum kommunalen Klimaschutz in Deutschland erstellt werden könnten. Diese sollen in der Lage sein, diverse Detailfragen zu kommunalen Klimaschutzpotenzialen sowie den Rückkopplungen zwischen kommunalem und nationalem Klimaschutz zu beantworten. b) Output: Output des Vorhabens wird eine Machbarkeitsstudie, die das konkrete Vorgehen darstellt, wie integrierte Energie- und Treibhausgasszenarien zum kommunalen Klimaschutz erstellt werden können.

Description: a) Objective, technical justification: The aim of the project is to develop a feasibility study for scenarios for municipal climate protection. These scenarios should enable a deeper understanding of municipal climate protection potentials and their dependencies and feedbacks on national climate protection. This is intended to draw conclusions for the support framework for municipalities.
