CO2-reduzierter Beton durch Upcycling von Reststoffen aus der Betonaufbereitung und CCU, Teilvorhaben: Entwicklung und Performancebewertung von RC2-Betonen / URBAN-Mix

Description: Das Gesamtziel des Vorhabens URBAN ist es, neu entwickelte Recycling-Zemente (RC) sowie Karbonatisierungstechnologien (CCU) zu nutzen, um einen hochwertigen, ressourceneffizienten und stark CO2-reduzierten Materialkreislauf für sortierten Altbeton und industriellen Restbeton zu ermöglichen. Die auf dieser Basis neu entwickelten RC²-Betone enthalten RC-Zement und RC-Gesteinskörnung (entsprechend RC²) und adressieren somit sowohl die Bindemittelkomponente als auch die Gesteinskörnung. Ziel des Teilvorhabens ‚URBAN-Mix Entwicklung und Performancebewertung von RC²-Betonen‘ ist es, unter Nutzung der in den anderen Teilprojekten des Verbunds URBAN entwickelten RC-Zemente bzw. RC-Gesteinskörnungen Betone mit möglichst gleichwertiger oder verbesserter Leistungsfähigkeit gegenüber konventionellen Referenzbetonen zu entwickeln. Die technische Leistungsfähigkeit, die Umweltwirkungen und der Ressourcenverbrauch werden quantifiziert und Richtlinien und Handlungsanweisungen für eine erfolgreiche Herstellung und Nutzung dieser Betone werden bereitgestellt.

  Description: The overall objective of the URBAN project is to use newly developed recycled cements (RC) and carbonation technologies (CCU) to enable a high-quality, resource-efficient and strongly CO2-reduced material cycle for sorted waste concrete and industrial residual concrete.
