Description: Press Investments in noise protection at record high in 2016 Share Press release No. 147 of 24 April 2018 WIESBADEN – In 2016, enterprises in industry (excluding construction) invested 133.5 million euros in tangible fixed assets for noise and vibration protection in Germany, according to provisional results. To coincide with the International Noise Awareness Day on 25 April, the Federal Statistical Office ( Destatis ) also reports that investments in noise protection have increased almost continuously in the past few years and reached a new record high in 2016.
