DWD’s fully automatic MOSMIX product optimizes and interprets the forecast calculations of the NWP models ICON (DWD) and IFS (ECMWF), combines these and calculates statistically optimized weather forecasts in terms of point forecasts (PFCs). Thus, statistically corrected, updated forecasts for the next ten days are calculated for about 5400 locations around the world. Most forecasting locations are spread over Germany and Europe. Das Projekt "Limnologische Untersuchung und Modellsimulation eines eutrophen Weihers (Alsdorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen)" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Stadt Alsdorf. Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Technische Hochschule Aachen, Fachgruppe Biologie, Lehrstuhl für Biologie V (Ökologie, Ökotoxikologie, Ökochemie).Im Rahmen der Restaurierung des eutrophen Alsdorfer Weihers soll ein Simulationsmodell entwickelt werden, um die Auswirkungen verschiedener Restaurierungsmassnahmen abschaetzen zu koennen. Dazu wurden seit Maerz 1995 im Alsdorfer Weiher kontinuierlich chemisch-physikalische Parameter sowie Plankton-Daten erhoben. Die Erfassung der Fischdichte sowie des Nahrungsspektrums der Fische soll verstaerkt untersucht werden. Die Erhebung dieser Daten soll in den naechsten Jahren fortgefuehrt werden, um einen umfassenden Datensatz zur Validierung des Simulationsmodells zur Verfuegung zu haben. Bisher liegt fuer den Alsdorfer Weiher ein Computer-Simulationsprogramm zur Darstellung der sommerlichen pelagialen Plankton-Sukzession unter Beruecksichtigung der wichtigsten Zooplankton und Phytoplankton-Gruppen, des Phosphatkreislaufes und der Fische vor. Zukuenftig soll das Modell um den Einfluss des Sediments sowie um eine exaktere Darstellung der Fische erweitert werden. Insbesondere die Uebertragbarkeit des Modells auf andere eutrophe Weiher soll untersucht werden.
