Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universität Hohenheim, Fakultät IV Agrarwissenschaften II, Institut für Agrar- und Sozialökonomie in den Tropen und Subtropen, Fachgebiet Landwirtschaftliche Entwicklungstheorie und Entwicklungspolitik.To investigate the impact of poverty alleviation programs on the technical efficiency of floating net cage aquaculture production of small fish farmers in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The mean effiency indexes of the technical efficiency resulted by the application of stochastic frontier model are 0.65 and 0.68 in Cob-Douglas and translog functiuonal form respectively. The poverty alleviation programs as dummy variable in the analysis showed a significant impact on the technical efficiency. Microeconomic analysis is the basis of methodological approach in this work. The analysis will be enlarged after having more literature review.
