Erfassung der Geländeklimas mit Hilfe von mobilen und stationären Klimamessungen im südlichen Rheinhessen

Die untersuchte Region um Gundersheim gehört mit 450-500 mm Jahresniederschlag zu den niederschlagsärmsten Gebieten in ganz Deutschland und stellt somit eine besondere wissenschaftliche Herausforderung dar. Ein spezielles Augenmerk bei den Untersuchungen liegt dabei auf Starkregenereignisse sowie Trockenperioden, Kaltluftabflüsse, Kaltluftseebildung und Frostgefährdung. Durch diese besonderen Klimaverhältnisse ergeben sich erhebliche Einflüsse auf den Landschaftshaushalt des untersuchten Raumes. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse werden in Form von klimaökologischen Beratungen den Landwirten und Winzern zugänglich gemacht.
