This product is based on Vaisala RS92 radiosonde measurements of temperature, humidity, wind and pressure that have been processed following the requirements of the GCOS Reference Upper Air Network (GRUAN) that were described in Immler et al. [2010]. The GRUAN data product file comply to the requirements of GRUAN in particular by providing a full uncertainty analysis. The uncertainty is calculated according to the recommendations of the “Guide for expressing uncertainty in measurement” [GUM2008]. The total uncertainty is assessed from estimates of the calibration uncertainty, the uncertainty of corrections and statistical standard deviations. Corrections are applied such that the data is bias free according to current knowledge.

Das Projekt "Koordinierte Messungen der Stratosphaere in hohen und mittleren Breiten" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Universität Bremen, Fachbereich 1 Physik,Elektrotechnik, Institut für Umweltphysik,Fernerkundung durchgeführt. Aufbau eines internationalen Netzwerks von Stationen zur Untersuchung der Stratosphaere. Innerhalb des Netzwerks, des NDSC (Network of the detection of stratospheric changes), werden inzwischen die chemischen Substanzen, die zum Abbau von Ozon in der Stratosphaere fuehren, an verschiedenen Orten in der ganzen Welt mit verschiedensten Technologien gemessen. Messstationen sind zum Beispiel: Jungfraunjoch (Schweiz), Ny Alesund (Spitzbergen), Bordeaux (Frankreich), Lauder (Neuseeland).
Das Projekt "Betrieb eines Mikrowellenradiometers zur Messung stratosphaerischen Ozons, Chlormonoxid und Wasserdampfes" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Universität Bremen, Fachbereich 1 Physik,Elektrotechnik, Institut für Umweltphysik,Fernerkundung durchgeführt. Der Betrieb des Mikrowellenradiometers an der akustischen NDSC-Station NY-Aelesund, wird durch dieses Projekt gewaehrleistet.
