Das Projekt "Sida: Intelligent Densified Energy Carriers for Austria" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH (FFG). Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, Department für Agrarbiotechnologie, IFA-Tulln, Institut für Umweltbiotechnologie.The central aim of the project is to provide competitive SIDecA commodity and the development of optimal utilization scenarios for energy recovery. Holistic processing along the entire value chain of the energy plant Sida generates raw materials that are adapted to the different uses for maximum energy yield. Optimized crop establishment, utilization-optimized culture conditions, increased energy density, and measures to increase the energy efficiency of different energy recovery options will increase attractiveness, affordability and competitiveness of this new sustainable energy source.
