In dem Vorhaben sollen die Bedingungen für das epidemische Auftreten der Antraknose an Kulturheidelbeeren (Vaccinium corymbosum) erforscht und damit Grundlagen für eine wirkungsvolle, ökonomisch tragbare und ökologisch vertretbare Bekämpfung geschaffen werden. Zur eindeutigen Identifizierung des Pathogens/der Pathogene werden serologische Verfahren (C.acutatum-spezifischer ELISA) eingesetzt und auf Nukleinsäurenachweis basierende Verfahren (PCR) entwickelt. Die Epidemiologie der Anthraknose wird in Ertragsanlagen unter Erfassung von Witterungsbedingungen (Temperatur-, Luftfeuchte-, Niederschlags-, Windgeschwindigkeits- und Blattnässewerte) untersucht. Während der Vegetationsperiode (April-September) wird die Ausbreitung des Pilzes durch Sporen in Sporen- und Flaschenfallen erfasst und die räumliche Verteilung der Krankheit bestimmt. Durch wöchentliche Stichprobennahme werden die latenten Anthraknoseinfektionen an unreifen und reifen Früchten verfolgt, um Infektionsperioden bzw. Infektionshöhepunkte zu ermitteln. Ein Modell zur Prognose von Infektionsperioden soll erstellt werden, welches für die integrierte Bekämpfung der Anthraknose von Bedeutung sein kann.
