WISE WFD Reference Spatial Datasets reported under Water Framework Directive 2010 - INTERNAL VERSION - version 1.9, Sep. 2025

The dataset contains information on the European river basin districts, the river basin district sub-units, the surface water bodies and the groundwater bodies delineated for the 1st River Basin Management Plans (RBMP) under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) as well as the European monitoring sites used for the assessment of the status of the abovementioned surface water bodies and groundwater bodies. This data set is available only for internal use of the European Commission and the European Environment Agency. The information was reported to the European Commission under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) reporting obligations. Waterbase serves as the EEA’s central database for managing and disseminating data regarding the status and quality of Europe's rivers, lakes, groundwater bodies, transitional, coastal, and marine waters. It also includes information on the quantity of Europe’s water resources and the emissions from point and diffuse sources of pollution into surface waters. Specifically, Waterbase - Biology focuses on biology data from rivers, lakes, transitional and coastal waters collected annually through the Water Information System for Europe (WISE) – State of Environment (SoE) reporting framework. The data are expected to be collected within monitoring programs defined under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and used in the classification of the ecological status or potential of rivers, lakes, transitional and coastal water bodies. These datasets provide harmonised, quality-assured biological monitoring data reported by EEA member and cooperating countries, as Ecological Quality Ratios (EQRs) from all surface water categories (rivers, lakes, transitional and coastal waters).

Hydrogeologische Profiltypen der tieferen tertiären Wasserleiter

Die Karte zeigt die Verbreitungsgebiete vorherrschender, hydrogeologischer Profiltypen. Es sind in generalisierter Form typische Abfolgen verschiedener Grundwasserleiter und ihrer Trennschichten. Betrachtungsebenen sind die Lockergesteine des Quartärs (eiszeitliche Sedimente) und des Jungtertiärs bis zur Basis der miozänen Braunkohlensande. Angrenzende tiefere Horizonte enthalten aus wasserwirtschaftlicher Sicht keine weiteren Wasserleiter und bilden damit summarisch die Basis der hangenden Wasserleiter. Gleichbleibende Mächtigkeitsverhältnisse in den Profiltypdarstellungen variieren tatsächlich stark. So bilden die Braunkohlensande in den Senkungszonen zwischen den Salzstrukturen häufig den mächtigsten Wasserleiterkomplex, während im Bereich der Salzstrukturen alttertiäre und ältere Schichten bis in oberflächennahe Bereiche reichen.

WFS Gewässerstrukturkartierung nach dem Feinverfahren

Die Gewässerstruktur beschreibt das Gewässer, seine Ufer und das Gewässerumfeld. Abwechslungsreiche Strukturen sind als Grundlage für die ökologische Funktionsfähigkeit des Gewässers und somit für den Erhalt und die Entwicklung natürlicher Lebensgemeinschaften wichtig. Sie ist Teil der hydromorphologischen Qualitätskomponenten der Wasserrahmenrichtlinie WRRL. Bitte beachten Sie folgende Hinweise zu Vollständigkeit und Qualität der bereitgestellten Daten: aufgrund von Ungenauigkeiten bei der Erfassung von Fachobjekten kommt es vereinzelt zu nicht validen Geometrien gemäß OGC-Schema-Validierung. Da GIS-Server wie ArcGIS-Server, GeoServer oder UMN MapServer immer genauere Datengrundlagen verwenden/verarbeiten müssen, wird auch die Prüfroutine immer weiterentwickelt und mahnt im Toleranzbereich als auch in der topologischen Erfassung Ungenauigkeiten (bspw. durch Dritt-Software) an. Dies führt dazu, dass Geometrien nicht mehr dargestellt beziehungsweise erfasst werden können. Zu den beanstandeten Geometriefehlern gehören u.a. Selbstüberschneidungen (Selfintersections) oder doppelte Stützpunkte. Die LUBW kann daher keine Garantie für die Vollständigkeit und Stabilität des Download-Dienstes (WFS) geben. Bitte prüfen Sie daher im Bedarfsfall die Vollständigkeit anhand der ebenfalls angebotenen Darstellungsdienste (WMS).
