In-situ Remediation Techniques for Heavy Metal Contaminated Soils: Metal Fixation Either Through Binding Agents and/or pH Manipulations, Respectively

Low level heavy metal contaminated soils needed only mild and environmentally safe sanitation techniques, otherwise soil, which are natural non reproducible expensive resource would be dumped. Mild sanitation techniques are defined as techniques which maintain the integrity of soil and intactness of soil fertility (measured with the help of physical, chemical and biological processes). The main objective of this project is to find out some suitable mild techniques applicable to real world with the help of laboratory, pot and field experiments. The mild techniques could be selected from two categories e.g.immobilization technique (in-situ-securing) and Mobilization technique (in-situ-sanitation).
