Die Liste deutscher Industrieanlagen umfasst sowohl administrative Stammdaten (Namen, Adressen, Koordinaten, zuständige Behörden) als auch Links zu Genehmigungsdokumenten, Ausnahmen, Vor-Ort-Besichtigungen. Richtlinie 2010/75/EU über Industrieemissionen (IE-RL) verpflichtet EU-Mitgliedstaaten der EU-Kommission (KOM) jährlich über die Umsetzung der IE-RL Bericht zu erstatten. Diese Berichte umfassen reprä-sentative Daten über Emissionen aus industriellen Tätigkeiten, über Emissi-onsgrenzwerte, über die Anwendung der besten verfügbaren Techniken (BVT), sowie über die Gewährung von Ausnahmen von den EU-weit gelten-den mit BVT assoziierten Emissionswerten. Gemäß Art. 24 IE-RL sind der Öffentlichkeit folgende Informationen zu Anlagen (gemäß Art. 3(3) IE-RL) auch über das Internet zugänglich zu ma-chen: der Inhalt der Genehmigungsentscheidung; die Gründe, auf denen diese Entscheidung beruht; sowie im Falle der Gewährung einer Ausnahme von mit BVT-assoziierten Emissionswerten gemäß Art. 15(4) IE-RL die ge-nauen Gründe für die Gewährung der Ausnahme.
